President’s Message

As President of the South Carolina InfraGard Member’s Alliance, I am pleased to announce our upcoming Fall Conference.  The topic of this Conference will be “Current Trends in Terrorism.”  The conference will be held on Wednesday

October 22nd at the Sand Dunes Club on Sullivan’s Island (Charleston Area).   The address is 1735 Atlantic Street, Sullivan’s Island, SC, 29482.

Both International and Domestic Terrorism will be discussed during this conference as well as a presentation concerning EMPs (Electromagnetic Pulses).  There will also be a viewing of the  “Company Man,” a short film concerning economic espionage.

The conference will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.  Lunch will be served to those in attendance.  If you plan on attending, please contact Wanda Busbee at Wanda.Busbee@ic.fbi.gov.  The conference is free to all members who have paid dues and is $10 for guests and members that have not paid dues.  Payment can be made in advance using PayPal at www.southcarolinainfragard.org.  Conference fees are used to offset the cost of the conference.

I am also pleased to announce that the Executive Board has elected Sean Cassidy, the previous InfraGard Coordiantor, to the Board.  Sean is now currently serving as the treasurer.   In addition, our first two Sector Chiefs have been appointed.  George Tselentis is the Sector Chief for Government Facilities and Clay Boswell is our Sector Chief for the manufacturing sector.
